Abstract:
An extendable vehicle steering shaft incorporated into a vehicle steering shaft and having a male shaft and a female shaft which are relatively nonrotatably but slidably fitted together, wherein at least one set of torque transmitting members are disposed in at least one set of interposed sections formed in the outer peripheral surface of the male shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the female shaft, the at least one set of torque transmission members being columnar bodies gradually reduced in diameter as they axially extend to the end.
