Abstract:

An exchange operating mechanism comprises a contactor carrier (102), a connecting rod (105), a connecting shaft (106), a cantilever (114), and an exchange mechanism. A moveable contactor (121) is fixed in the contactor carrier (102). The contactor carrier (102) is rotated around a shaft (122) to make the moveable contactor (121) be separated from or contacted to a fixed contactor (104). The bottom end of the connecting rod (105) is connected to the contactor carrier (102). The top end of the connecting rod (105) is connected to the cantilever (114) via the connecting shaft (106). The exchange mechanism is connected to the cantilever (114) via a main shaft (103). The action of the exchange mechanism drives the cantilever (114) by the main shaft (103) and drives the contactor carrier (102) by the connecting shaft (106) and the connecting rod (105) to make the moveable contactor (121) be separated from or contacted to the fixed contactor (104), thereby opening or closing a switch. The exchange mechanism is one of a manual operating mechanism (101) and an energy storing mechanism (112). The exchange mechanism provides an easy way to implement the exchange between a manual operating mechanism and a motor operating mechanism of a molded circuit breaker. The motor operating mechanism of the exchange mechanism is no longer installed outside the molded circuit breaker, and the height and volume of the molded circuit breaker are reduced.
