Abstract:
Provided is an engagement-type clutch mechanism, wherein: by the movement of a first power transmission member (4), which is movably supported by a rotating shaft (2) in a relatively non-rotatable manner, toward a second power transmission member (6), first and second protruding sections (7, 9) provided on facing surfaces of the first and second power transmission members (4, 6) are engaged, and the rotation of the second power transmission member (6) is synchronized with the rotation of the first power transmission member (4); and by the movement of a sleeve (12) toward the synchronized second power transmission member (6), a first spline (8) of the first power transmission member (4) and a second spline (10) of the second power transmission member (6) are connected via an engagement target spline (11) of the sleeve (12), and the rotation of one among the rotating shaft (2) and the second power transmission member (6) is transmitted to the other one among the rotating shaft (2) and the second power transmission member (6). Thus, there is provided an engagement-type clutch mechanism which compensates the smooth engagement of the clutch mechanism, is easily processed, and is not easily restricted with respect to the number or shape of teeth.
