Title:
ENGAGEMENT FOR INFINITELY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/077491
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used for all branches of economy for transforming (especially by a stepless transformation) a rotational motion. The engagement of a rotary transmission is performed by two discs. Power elements are circumferentially mounted on the end surface of a disc by means of spherical joints at an angle with respect to the rotation plane of the disc. The adjacent surface of the other disc is embodied in a dentate form. The abutments of the initial position of the power elements can be embodied in such a way that they are flexible.
