Abstract:
An endoscope comprising a rotation cylinder part (27) that is connected to an insertion part (14) which is inserted into a body cavity and that rotates along with the insertion part (14), and an operation part (20) that operates the insertion part (14), said endoscope being provided with: a gripping cylinder part (26) that has a bottom part (261) in which is formed a through hole (262) into which the rotation cylinder part (27) fits, and that rotates the rotation cylinder part (27); and a rotation suppression member (30) that is provided to the operation part (20) and that contacts the bottom part (261) of the gripping cylinder part (26) to suppress rotation of the gripping cylinder part (26).
