Abstract:
An endoscope 1 is provided with: an imager unit mounting region 26 provided on the distal end side of a distal end frame member 21 which is formed of a resin material and is provided on a distal end portion 6 of an insertion part 2 inserted into a subject; a cable connection surface 44 provided on the proximal end side; a wall section 40 provided to connect the imager unit mounting region 26 and the cable connection surface 44; contact patterns 81-84 formed on a wall surface 26a of the imager unit mounting region 26; wiring patterns 51-54 formed from the wall section 40 to the cable connection surface 44; connection patterns 51b-54b which are formed on the cable connection surface 44 and to which core wires 61a-64a of cables 61-64 are electrically connected; and through electrodes 81a-84a which are formed on the wall section to allow communication between the imager unit mounting region and the cable connection surface, and electrically connect the contact patterns 81-84 with the wiring patterns 51-54.
