Abstract:
Disclosed is an elevator brake control device that detects a brake operation without using a mechanical switch. This elevator brake control device controls the operation of an electromagnetic brake of an elevator, and comprises: a current sensor (69) that detects a current flowing through a brake coil (52) of the electromagnetic brake; and a brake operation check device (68) that determines an increasing/decreasing state of the current using a detection value of the current detected by the current sensor, and detects an operation state of the electromagnetic brake on the basis of the determined increasing/decreasing state.
