Abstract:
This invention provides an electrophotographic photoreceptor, which can suppress
both a long-term fluctuation in potential and a short-term fluctuation in potential,
a process for producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, a process cartridge
comprising the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and an electrophotographic
apparatus. The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises an intermediate
layer formed by coating a coating liquid for an intermediate layer, containing
an acidic titania sol and an organic resin, and drying the coating. The acidic
titania sol is an acidic sol containing anatase titanium oxide crystal particles
having an average primary particle diameter of not less than 3 nm and not more than
9 nm.
