Abstract:

An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a battery; a communication module; and at least one processor electrically connected to the communication module, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to: check the state of charge of the battery; on the basis of confirming that the state of charge of the battery satisfies a specified condition, check whether a short-range wireless communication connection to a specified external electronic device exists; transmit a request for establishing the short-range wireless communication connection to the specified external electronic device through the communication module, on the basis of the confirmation that the short-range wireless communication connection with the specified external electronic device has been released; and transmit information related to the charge of the battery to the specified external electronic device through the communication module, on the basis of the short-range wireless communication connection with the specified external electronic device.
