Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise a first camera, a second camera, a display, and at least one processor. A focal length of the second camera may be different from a focal length of the first camera. The at least one processor may identify, within an input image obtained through the first camera, an unclassified area that is identified as neither an object area nor a background area. The at least one processor may obtain multiple zoom images through the second camera on the basis of a zoom magnification of the second camera identified so that the unclassified area is included. The at least one processor may identify a masking portion corresponding to an object on the basis of the multiple zoom images. The at least one processor may identify a background area image for the input image by determining the unclassified area as one of the background area and the object area on the basis of the input image and the masking portion.
