Abstract:

An electronic device according to an embodiment may identify characters within an image displayed through a display. The electronic device may identify, on the basis of categories classified by language of the characters, information corresponding to a first category including the characters, from a nonvolatile memory. The electronic device may store, in a volatile memory, the information corresponding to the first category. The electronic device may obtain, on the basis of the information stored in the volatile memory, text data corresponding to the characters.
