Abstract:
The present document relates to an electronic device and a method for display synchronization. According to an embodiment, a software module (OS) of the electronic device may be configured to: on the basis of a request for rendering a frame to be displayed on a display, allocate a hardware resource required for rendering the frame; identify whether the frame has changed; on the basis of identifying that the frame has changed, obtain a changed system parameter of the frame; obtain offset information, which is configured in response to the changed system parameter, from the synchronized data; and generate a software vertical synchronization signal by applying the offset information. Other embodiments are also possible.
