Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic actuator for a differential, including a frame, an outer pole, an inner pole, a coil assembly, a ring-shaped armature, a guide member, a plunger, and a plunger head. The frame has a recess in an edge thereof. The outer pole is fixed to a top inner surface of the recess. An end of the inner pole is connected to the outer pole, and the other end has a slope and is spaced apart from the outer pole so as to form a space therebetween. The coil assembly is disposed in the space between the inner pole and the outer pole, and includes a sensor. The ring-shaped armature is disposed between the outer pole and the recess of the frame, and has an outer surface provided with a protruding pressing end, and an inner surface having a first slope corresponding to the slope of the inner pole, such that the armature can move without disengaging. The guide member is formed on a contact surface between the armature and the outer pole in order to guide the movement of the armature. The plunger is installed surrounding the inner pole and facing the frame, has a peripheral top surface contacting the pressing end of the armature so as to move together with the armature, and includes an attached target used for the sensor to sense a traveling distance. The plunger head is connected to a bottom surface of the plunger, and includes a plurality of protruding pushers. A separation-preventing ledge is formed on an outer surface of the pusher. The armature operates without jamming so as to stably move the plunger and the plunger head.
