Abstract:
An electromagnetic wave generator (100) that comprises: a cavity resonance part (2) that is provided to a conductor plate (1) and has N resonance cavities (22); a power supply (11) that supplies power that is for electromagnetic wave generation; N diodes (3) that supply power supply power from the power supply (11) to the N resonance cavities (22), the diodes (3) being electrically connected at either the anodes or the cathodes thereof to respective tip-end parts of electrodes (25) of the resonance cavities (22) and being commonly electrically connected at the other of the anodes or the cathodes thereof to the power supply (11); a magnetic field application part (9) that applies a magnetic field (B) to the cavity resonance part (2); and an electromagnetic wave output part (13) that outputs electromagnetic waves (W) that have been generated by the cavity resonance part (2).
