An electromagnetic trip device (10) comprises: a fixed piece (11) which includes a bottom portion (12) and side wall portions (13) provided upright on the bottom portion (12), and which forms a channel through which an electric path (20) of a circuit breaker (60) passes; and a movable piece (16) including a first part (17) facing upper surfaces (13a) of the side wall portions (13), and a second part (18) facing inner side surfaces of the side wall portions (13).
