Abstract:
An electromagnetic contactor (11) comprises an upper section frame (13), a fixed contact element (21), a movable contact element (22), and a grid (51). The grid (51) is a metal plate that is formed, in the shape of the character コ when viewed from a depth direction, from a pair of side plates (52) adjacent to partitioning walls (61) of the upper section frame (13) and facing one another, and a middle plate (53) provided between base ends of the side plates (52), and a contact point section (25) is positioned inside thereof. Formed in the upper section frame (13) is a protection wall (62) that covers, within the inner peripheral surface of the grid (51), tip-end side end sections (64) of the side plates (52).
