Abstract:

The electromagnetic contactor according to the present invention comprises: a lower body; a magnetism generating unit installed inside the lower body and magnetized by externally supplied power so as to perform an attraction movement; a crossbar which is coupled to the top of the magnetism generating unit and has a movable contact installed thereon in such a manner to move up and down; a pair of upper bodies which are separately coupled to either side of the top end of the lower body so as to have the movable contact and an auxiliary movable contact positioned therein, and which have end parts, which face each other, correspondingly coupled to either side therein, and which has a fixed contact and an auxiliary fixed contact provided on one side thereof; and a cover which couples the top ends of the pair of upper bodies and exposes the top end of the crossbar and the movable contact to the outside.
