Abstract:
An electromagnetic connecting device capable of switching a rotation and drive section and a connection section between a connected state and a non-connected state with impact noise suppressed and with damage to the connection section prevented.
An electromagnetic connecting device (1) is provided with a rotation and drive section (10) capable of moving in a predetermined rotation and drive direction, a connection section (30) provided so as to be advanceable and retractable relative to the rotation and drive section (10) in an advancement and retraction direction substantially perpendicular to the rotation and drive direction, and a switching means (40) for causing an electromagnetic force to act to switch the connection section (30) and the rotation and drive section (10) between a connected state and a non-connected state, the connected state being a state in which the connection section (30) and the rotation and drive section (10) are pressed to each other, the non-connected state being a state in which the connection section (30) and the rotation and drive section (10) are separated from each other. The connection section (30) is provided with plate-like members (31) stacked on each other in the advancement and retraction direction with at least the peripheral edge sections of the plate-like members not fastened together. At least either of adjacent plate-like members (31) has, on the surface thereof facing the other plate-like member (31), a slide restriction section (32) for restricting sliding of the other plate-like member (31) in the rotation and drive direction.
