Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrolyte, comprising an electrolyte salt, a primary solvent, a halogen-containing additive, and a secondary solvent. The halogen-containing additive is selected from at least one of alkali metal iodide, tin iodide, alkali metal bromide, tin bromide, elemental bromine and elemental iodine. The secondary solvent is different from the primary solvent and is selected from at least one of R1S(O)R2, benzene and a benzene derivative, wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent a C1-6 alkyl group, and one or more hydrogen atoms on a phenyl group of the benzene derivative are each independently substituted with the same or different C1-6 alkyl groups. The electrolyte of the present application can reduce dendrites of secondary batteries, and has good comprehensive performance.
