Title:
ELECTRODE CATALYST AND WATER ELECTROLYSIS CELL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/095791
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an electrode catalyst having high activity as a catalyst for a water electrolysis cell anode, as well as excellent electrical conductivity. Through the present invention, there is provided an electrode catalyst comprising a carrier powder and active particles supported on the carrier powder, the carrier powder being an aggregate of carrier fine particles provided with chain parts formed by fusion bonding of a plurality of crystallites into chains, the carrier fine particles including a metal oxide doped with a doping element, the main elements of the metal oxide including tin, the active particles including a platinum-group oxide including a platinum-group element, and the carrying rate of the active particles being 25 mass% or greater.
