Abstract:
Provided is an electrode that is intended to be used in a battery system and is provided with a sheet composed of a non-woven fabric containing a plurality of carbon fibers, in which the sheet has a first surface and a second surface that face each other in a direction along the thickness of the sheet, the plurality of carbon fibers contain a first carbon fiber, the first carbon fiber has at least one cut surface selected from a cut surface that faces the first surface and a cut surface that faces the second surface, and the sheet has a width of 1000 mm or less and a length of 2000 mm or less.
