Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrode assembly and a secondary battery comprising same. The electrode assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator interposed between the positive and negative electrodes, wherein an avoidance recess is formed in one electrode among the positive and negative electrodes, the avoidance recess being formed to be recessed in a region overlapping the end of the other electrode among the positive and negative electrodes.
