Abstract:
An electrode assembly and an electrochemical device same. The electrode assembly comprises an electrode plate and embedded tabs (1, 3) disposed on the electrode plate; a spinning layer (4) is disposed on an electrode plate surface, and the spinning layer (4) covers the electrode plate surface and is in contact with the electrode plate surface, wherein the electrode plate surface comprises tab surfaces. A conventional separator is replaced with the spinning layer (4), and the spinning layer (4) is integrated with the electrode plate. Especially in a battery structure having embedded tabs (1, 3), since the spinning layer (4) can separate metal burrs, the tabs to which a green adhesive tap needs to be attached can be replaced by the spinning layer (4), thereby eliminating the adhesive tap attached to the tabs. In addition, the spinning layer (4) does not block the transmission of lithium ions, and the capacity of the part of the active material originally covered by the green adhesive tape can be normal, thereby increasing the energy density.
