Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and provides an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. The battery cell comprises a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and an insulating layer. The positive electrode sheet comprises a coating layer. The negative electrode sheet comprises a porous current collector and a first tab connected to at least one end of the porous current collector; in the thickness direction of the porous current collector, the porous current collector faces the coating layer; in a first direction, the porous current collector has an extension section exceeding the coating layer; and the first direction is perpendicular to the thickness direction of the porous current collector. The insulating layer and the extension section are correspondingly arranged, and in the thickness direction of the porous current collector, the projection of the insulating layer on the porous current collector covers part or whole of the extension section. Lithium ions separated from the coating layer can be blocked by means of the insulating layer, such that the phenomenon that the lithium ions enter the extension section to be deposited is reduced, and lithium metal dendrites formed at the extension section can be blocked, thereby reducing the risk of a separator being punctured, and improving the use safety of the electrode assembly.
