Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an electrode assembly, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device. The electrode assembly comprises an electrode assembly body and an end protection layer. The electrode assembly body comprises a positive electrode sheet body part, a negative electrode sheet body part, and a separator used for separating the positive electrode sheet body part from the negative electrode sheet body part. The separator protrudes outwards relative to the positive electrode sheet body part and the negative electrode sheet body part from two ends of the electrode assembly body along a first direction. A non-contact surface which is not in contact with the positive electrode sheet body part and the negative electrode sheet body part is provided at two ends of the separator in the first direction. The end protection layer is provided at two ends of the electrode assembly body in the first direction and forms an integrated structure with the electrode assembly body. The end protection layer comprises a separator coating part. The separator coating part covers at least part of the non-contact surface and is directly combined with the non-contact surface to form an integrated structure with the separator.
