Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide electroconductive particles and a signal-transmitting connector having same, wherein the electroconductive particles are improved to prevent the phenomenon of irregular scrub between the electroconductive particles and to have improved signal delivery characteristics. Electroconductive particles according to the present invention are provided on a signal-transmitting connector having multiple electroconductive portions supported by an insulating portion made of an elastic insulating material to be spaced apart from each other such that the signal-transmitting connector can be connected to an electronic component and can transmit electric signals. Each of the electroconductive particles comprises: an electroconductive particle body having a first surface and a second surface which are flat, and which are disposed in parallel with each other; and a toothed portion. The toothed portion comprises: multiple electroconductive particle protrusions protruding outwards from a periphery of the electroconductive particle body, each electroconductive particle protrusion having a first end portion disposed at the same height as the first surface of the electroconductive particle body and having a second end portion disposed at the same height as the second surface of the electroconductive particle body; and multiple electroconductive particle grooves provided between the multiple electroconductive particle protrusions. The toothed portion is disposed inside an electroconductive portion so as to engage with a toothed portion of another electroconductive particle and to be electrically connected thereto in such a type that the electroconductive particle protrusions are inserted into electroconductive particle grooves of the other electroconductive particle.
