Provided are: an electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer composition that not only can be manufactured with a simple configuration with good productivity and low cost but also has excellent extrusion moldability and is capable of achieving the lower resistance required of drive rollers; a manufacturing method therefor; a drive roller manufactured using such an electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer composition; and an image-forming apparatus into which said drive roller is incorporated. For the electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer composition, 5-15 parts by mass of Ketjenblack are finely dispersed in 100 parts by mass total of an ester-type urethane thermoplastic elastomer and a plasticizing agent or 100 parts by mass of a polyester thermoplastic elastomer. The manufacturing method comprises a step for first kneading the other components and then blending and kneading the Ketjenblack. The drive roller (1) is obtained from an electroconductive thermoplastic elastomer. The drive roller is incorporated in the image-forming apparatus.
