Abstract:
An electrochemical device (100), comprising an electrode assembly (21) and a housing (10), wherein the housing (10) forms an accommodating space (12) for accommodating the electrode assembly (21), the housing (10) comprises a first packaging edge (13), and the first packaging edge (13) comprises a first packaging film (30) and a second packaging film (90). The side of the first packaging edge (13) close to the accommodating space (12) to the side far from the accommodating space (12) is a first direction (L). Along the first direction (L), the first packaging film (30) comprises a first sealing region (132) and a second sealing region (134) that are connected, and the second packaging film (90) comprises a third sealing region (135) and a fourth sealing region (136) that are connected. The first sealing region (132) and the third sealing region (135) are combined to form a second packaging region (131), the second sealing region (134) and the fourth sealing region (136) are combined to form a first packaging region (133), and in the thickness direction of the first packaging edge (13), the thickness of the first packaging region (133) is smaller than the thickness of the second packaging region (131). Further provided is an electronic device that uses the electrochemical device. The housing (10) is provided with a first packaging region (133) and a second packaging region (131), which may improve the stress concentration problem of packaging overflow (40) of the housing (10) and improve the safety performance.
