Abstract:
An electrically fused joint (1) comprises a tubular body section (2), a stopper section (22), first heat generation sections (3, 4), and a second heat generation section (5). The tubular body section (2) has joint receiving openings (23, 24). The stopper section (22) is provided on an inner surface (21a) of the body section (2) so as to protrude inward. The first heat generation sections (3, 4) include electric heating wires (31, 41) that are wrapped around and arranged in the joint receiving openings (23, 24). The second heat generation section (5) includes electric heating wires (51) that are wrapped around so as to be adjacent to each other and are arranged in the stopper section (22). The first heat generation sections (3, 4) have one or more heat generation portions (3a, 4a) in which the electric heating wires (31, 41) are wrapped around so as to be adjacent to each other. The number of adjacent windings of the electric heating wires (51) in the second heat generation section (5) is less than or equal to the number of adjacent windings of the electric heating wires (31, 41) in the heat generation portions (3a, 4a) adjacent to second heat generation section (5).
