Abstract:

Provided is an electrically conductive expanded roll having a high surface aperture ratio, wherein the electrically conductive expanded roll combines both cleaning properties and low resistance. This electrically conductive expanded roll 10 has a spindle body 12 and an electrically conductive expanded layer 14 formed about the outer circumference of the spindle body 12, the surface aperture ratio of the electrically conductive expanded layer 14 being 50-90%, and the electrically conductive expanded layer 14 containing an ion conductor, the ion conductor comprising a salt of a diallylammonium cation and one or more anions selected from N,N-bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide anions and N,N-bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide anions.
