Abstract:
According to the present invention, a receptacle connector 10 is an electrical connector mounted on a board 200, and comprises: a ground contact 11 having a cylindrical fitting portion 11a fitted to a ground contact 101 of a plug connector 100; a signal contact 12 electrically connected to a signal contact 102 of the plug connector 100; and an insulating housing 13 which holds the ground contact 11 and the signal contact 12 in an insulated state. The signal contact 12 includes: a center conductor 12a which contacts the signal contact 102 of the plug connector 100; and a board connecting portion 12b extending so as to be drawn out from the center conductor 12a and connected to a signal terminal portion 201 of the board 200. The board connecting portion 12b is accommodated in a region surrounded by the fitting portion 11a, and at least a part (specifically, the exposed portion 12x) thereof is exposed to the outside.
