Abstract:

This electrical cable processing device (1) comprises: a pair of cutting blades (40A, 40B) capable of cutting an electrical cable (5) and circumferentially notching a coating material (5b); slit blades (43A, 43B) disposed farther toward one side in the longitudinal direction (CL) of the electrical cable (5) than the cutting blades (40A, 40B), the slit blades (43A, 43B) being capable of forming slits in the coating material (5b) along the longitudinal direction (CL) of the electrical cable (5); and slit blade actuators (35A, 35B) that cause the slit blades (43A, 43B) to move between a slit position, at which the slit blades (43A, 43B) are closer to the electrical cable (5) than the cutting blades (40A, 40B), and a retreat position, at which the slit blades (43A, 43B) are farther from the electrical cable (5) than the cutting blades (40A, 40B).
