Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable electric valve with which it is possible to prevent a foreign object in a circulating fluid (refrigerant) from being caught between, and thereby becoming strongly pressed against, a valve body and a valve sheet, thereby making it possible to prevent scratches, dents and the like on the valve sheet and the valve body, and to reduce the likelihood of valve leakage. The electric valve (1) is configured to convert rotation of a rotor (57) into vertical motion of a main-valve body (20) by means of a screw-feeding mechanism. A sub-valve body (30) for opening and closing a valve opening (9) is disposed around the main-valve body (20). The sub-valve body (30), when the main-valve body (20) closes the valve opening (9), closes the valve opening (9) before the main-valve body (20) does. At least one of the sub-valve body (30) and the valve opening (9) is fitted with a filter (35) which, after the sub-valve body (30) has closed the valve opening (9) and until the main-valve body (20) closes the valve opening (9), provides communication between the valve opening (9) and a valve chamber (7).
