Abstract:
The present application provides an electric switch having multiple superimposed suction forces, comprising at least an insulating housing, an operating mechanism, a wire inlet end, a wire outlet end, a movable contact, and a chuck. A conductor on the wire inlet end is connected to the chuck, and a conductor on the wire outlet end is connected to the movable contact. The movable contact is inserted into or moved out of the chuck under the action of an operating mechanism. Magnetic conductive members are arranged around the chuck. When a large current flows through the chuck, due to the same direction of currents flowing through the chuck, the chuck generates a suction force to clamp the movable contact, and meanwhile, the magnetic conductive members around the chuck are magnetized to generate a suction force so that the chuck further clamps the movable contact. The two suction forces are superimposed to offset the electric repulsion force between contacts, thereby preventing burning loss caused by an arc generated by repulsion of the contacts due to the large current, and improving the short-time tolerance capability of the switch.
