An electric motor and a dust collector, which relate to the technical field of electric motors. The electric motor comprises: a front support assembly and a rear support assembly which match each other, and a rotor assembly and a stator assembly which are located between the front support assembly and the rear support assembly and match each other, wherein the stator assembly is connected to the rotor assembly in a sleeving manner; two ends of the rotor assembly are rotatably connected to the front support assembly and the rear support assembly, respectively, and the end of the rotor assembly that is connected to the rear support assembly is provided with a cooling fan blade that is located on the side of the rear support assembly away from the front support assembly; and the front support assembly and the rear support assembly are fixedly connected to the corresponding ends of the stator assembly, respectively, and the front support assembly and the rear support assembly are each provided with a through hole. The present application has the effects of reducing the loss of the electric motor due to wind friction and significantly improving the efficiency of the electric motor.
