Abstract:
This electric motor has: a rotating shaft; a rotor fixed to the rotating shaft; a stator having a stator core that surrounds the rotor from the outer side in the radial direction of the rotor, and a coil wound on the stator core; a bearing for supporting the rotating shaft; and a conduction member for enabling conduction between the stator core and an outer race of the bearing. The rotor has a facing part that is formed from a bond magnet and that faces the stator core in the radial direction, and an insulated linking part that links the facing part and the rotating shaft. The length L1 of the facing part in the axial direction of the rotating shaft is equal to or less than the length L2 of the stator core in the axial direction.
