Abstract:
The present invention is an electric linear actuator configured such that: shaft bearing fitting sections (57a, 61a) are provided to a base plate (36) and a lid (38) that form a gear case (34), at positions facing an output gear (49) of a gear deceleration mechanism (45); the shaft bearing fitting sections (57a, 61a) have incorporated therein roller bearings (53, 54) that rotatably support the output gear (49); the lid (38)-side shaft bearing fitting section (61a) is provided with a pressing stepped section (62); and, in a state in which the lid (38) is welded to a case main body (35) of the gear case (34), an outer bearing ring (54b) of the roller bearing (54) is pressed by the pressing stepped section (62) so that precompression is applied to the roller bearings (53, 54).
