Abstract:
On the outer diameter surfaces of planetary rollers (49), circumferential grooves (52) for engaging with a helical projection (51) provided on the inner diameter surface of an outer ring member (21) are formed. By the rotation of a rotating shaft (34), the planetary rollers (49) are rotated and revolved by frictional contact with said rotating shaft (34) to move the outer ring member (21) linearly in the axial direction. Between the opposing surfaces of each planetary roller (49) and a disc (41a) provided on a carrier (40), a thrust cage roller (53), which has the end face of the planetary roller (49) as a raceway surface (49a), is inserted. Assembly of the carrier (40) is simplified by incorporating a raceway disc (57), which is common to the multiple thrust cage rollers (53), between the opposing surfaces of the multiple thrust cage rollers (53) and the disc (41a) and reducing the number of parts.
