An electric drive assembly, comprising a first drive motor (1), a second drive motor (2), a first speed ratio deceleration mechanism (3), a second speed ratio deceleration mechanism (4) and a countershaft (7). The first drive motor and the second drive motor are coaxially arranged and can be driven independently so as to manage both power and economy requirements of a vehicle. The second drive motor directly transmits power to the countershaft through the second speed ratio deceleration mechanism, and the first drive motor directly transmits power to the countershaft through a one-way clutch (33) in the first speed ratio deceleration mechanism, so as to mechanically realize the transmission connection and disconnection between the first drive motor and the countershaft. The electric drive assembly does not require a gear shift or an additional control unit, does not suffer from power interruption and impact when shifting between the two speed ratios and modes, and thus improves comfort of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the electric drive assembly has a simple structure, consists of few parts, and has good system reliability. Further provided is an electric vehicle comprising the electric drive assembly.
