Abstract:
An electric cable inspecting device 60 comprises: an imaging device 70 for capturing a first image I1, which is an image of a tip end portion of an electric cable 1 in a state in which a coating 3 of the tip end portion has been removed to expose a core wire 2, and a second image I2, which is an image of the tip end portion of the electric cable 1 in a state in which a terminal 5 has been crimped onto the exposed core wire 2; and a crimp inspecting device 90 for inspecting a crimping state of the terminal 5. The crimp inspecting device 90: obtains a position of an end portion of the coating 3 and/or a position of the core wire 2 from the first image I1; and estimates the position of the end portion of the coating 3 and/or the core wire 2 in the second image I2 from a difference between a position of the electric cable 1 when the first image I1 was captured and a position of the electric cable 1 when the second image I2 was captured, and the position of the end portion of the coating 3 and/or the core wire 2 obtained from the first image I1. The crimp inspecting device 90 sets an inspection region R on the basis of the estimated position of the end portion of the coating 3 and/or the core wire 2 in the second image I2.
