Abstract:
An efficient cross-camera target re-recognition method based on similarity. The method comprises: obtaining a plurality of matching pairs and similarity scores thereof by means of two groups of targets to be matched; for matching pairs of the two parties that are not matched, only taking, each time, some of the matching pairs that have a higher similarity score, traversing same according to the similarity scores in a descending order, and outputting matching pairs and similarity scores thereof as matching results; when any target to be matched in a certain matching pair has appeared among the matching results, then refraining from outputting the matching pair as a matching result; and re-traversing the unmatched matching pairs until expected matching results are achieved. By means of the method, firstly, the problem of similarity-based multi-target matching is solved, and the time complexity is greatly reduced compared with other multi-target matching methods, thereby improving efficiency.
