Abstract:
This edged tool case, for an edged tool having a blade body and a handle, houses the blade body in a housing space that is formed when the case is in a closed state in which a first case and a second case, connected to each other via a hinge, face each other, leaves the handle to be exposed from the housing space, and is formed so as to be lockable in the closed state by a slide-lock member. The first case comprises a first face part, a first wall part, a magnet, a blade body insertion part, a jaw supporting part, a guide part, and the slide-like member. The second case comprises a second face part, a lock part, and a protruding ridge. The edged tool case is configured such that when the slide-lock member is moved from an open position to a closed position, the guide part and the lock part are covered by the slide-lock member, and locking takes place at multiple locations including both ends of the slide-lock member in the longitudinal direction thereof, so as not to have the second case released from the first case.
