Abstract:
The present invention relates to a drive motor capable of applying a bearing preload by positioning a magnet of a rotor in an asymmetric structure above a stator core, and a swivel actuator using same. The drive motor for a swivel actuator according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a housing having, in the center, a hollow cylindrical portion protruding from the bottom; a rotor having a rotor support of which the lower end is cup-shaped and rotatably coupled to the outer periphery of the hollow cylindrical portion; a stator disposed on the outside of the rotor with an air gap therebetween and disposed on the bottom of the housing to generate a rotating magnetic field to rotate and drive the rotor; first and second bearings stacked in series and disposed between the cup-shaped lower end of the rotor support and the lower end of the hollow cylindrical portion to rotatably support the rotor; and a bearing support which is press-fitted to the outer periphery of the hollow cylindrical part and presses the second bearing.
