Abstract:
Provided is a drive device with which it is possible to cause a driven member to rotate about an axis or extend/contract along an axial direction. The drive device 1 is provided with a main body 30, a shaft body 60 having a screw part 61, a motor 40 for causing the shaft body 60 to rotate, and a hollow cylindrical member 50 through which the shaft body 60 is inserted. The hollow cylindrical member 50 is capable of moving along the Z direction, and is restricted from rotating in relation to the main body 30. The drive device 1 is provided with: a camera module 10, which is rotatably supported by the hollow cylindrical member 50 and which moves in the Z direction with the hollow cylindrical member 50; a coil spring 70 for urging the hollow cylindrical member 50 in the +Z direction; a nut member 80 that engages with the screw part 61 of the shaft body 60 in a threaded manner, and that moves in the Z direction while restricting the movement of the hollow cylindrical member 50 in the Z direction; and a clutch member 90 that engages with the nut member 80 and thereby restricts the movement of the nut member 80 in the Z direction. The clutch member 90 rotates together with the camera module.
