Abstract:
Provided are a drilling system and a drilling method with which it is possible to further improve workability and efficiently drill vertical holes in hard ground. Insertion guides 12G are protrusively provided at intervals in the circumferential direction below a sleeve body 12, a hammer rod 5a onto which a weight 8 and the sleeve body 12 are externally fitted is moved downward and the sleeve body 12 suspended from the weight 8 is placed on placement portions 2c protrusively provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on the inner side of a casing 1, an upper wedge piece 13a that has moved downward together with the weight 8 presses a liner 14 against an inner peripheral surface of the casing 1 via a lower wedge piece 13b, the casing 1 and a hammer 3 are integrally rotationally driven by a rotation driving device 17, a vertical striking force is imparted to the hammer 3 with air supplied by a hose 10 movably held in the longitudinal direction by a hose holder 16, and each wedge piece 13a, 13b is blocked from an external space by a wedge piece cover 13c.
