Abstract:

The present invention provides a double clutch assembly wherein the area of contact between an auxiliary cover casing and a diaphragm spring in the rotational direction is expanded while simultaneously constraining unwanted movements of the diaphragm spring in the radial direction and in the rotational direction, with regard to the auxiliary cover casing, such that the concentricity of the diaphragm spring with regard to the hub center can be aligned and maintained in the designated position, and uneven wear of a disk assembly resulting from eccentric contact between a pressure plate and the disk assembly can be prevented. A double clutch assembly according to the present invention comprises a position-constraining structure (220) installed on an auxiliary cover casing (130) so as to constrain unwanted movements of a diaphragm spring (200) in the radial direction and in the rotational direction. The position-constraining structure (220) comprises: a body portion (221) arranged in a space between the auxiliary cover casing (130) and the diaphragm spring (200) and fixed to the auxiliary cover casing (130); a mounting portion (222) extending from the body portion (221) in the circumferential direction so as to be coupled to the auxiliary cover casing (130); a first protruding portion (223) protruding from the body portion (221) in the axial direction toward an incision groove (202) on the diaphragm spring (200) so as to be inserted into the incision groove (202), thereby constraining unwanted movements in the radial direction; and a second protruding portion (224) protruding from the body portion (221) in the axial direction toward the incision groove (202) on the diaphragm spring (200) so as to be inserted into the incision groove (202), thereby constraining unwanted movements in the rotational direction.
