Abstract:
A distributed storage system based data processing method and storage device. For any logical partition in a distributed storage system, one storage node is selected as a master storage node. The method comprises: during data reading, when a master storage node receives a read IO request, determining whether a target data object requested to be read by the read IO request on the master storage node is trusted; and if so, directly reading the target data object from the master storage node and returning same to an initiating end which sends the read IO request. By means of the method, if a target data object stored in a master storage node is trusted, data only needs to be read from one storage node, and the data object does not need to be read from other storage nodes. Compared with a Quorum mechanism, the present invention greatly reduces the number of copies for a read operation, and thus reduces a time delay of the read operation, and improves the performance of the read operation.
