Abstract:
A display device (1) comprises a display panel (2) containing a plurality of self-luminous elements (23), a display control unit (3) that controls display of an image (24) by the display panel, and a visual recognition sensor (4). The visual recognition sensor detects, from a state of a user, a non-visual recognition state in which the user is not visually recognizing a display screen, a state in which the line of sight of the user does not intersect with the display screen, or a state in which a distance between a view point of the user on the display screen and the position of the image is longer than or equal to a predetermined value. When the visual recognition sensor detects the non-visual recognition state, the display control unit changes a display position of at least a part of the image by the display panel by controlling light emission of the plurality of self-luminous elements.
