Abstract:
A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus comprises: a first display module having an infrared ray (IR) signal reception unit and a first wired port and second wired port to which local area network (LAN) cables are connected; and a second display module having a third wired port and fourth wired port to which LAN cables are connected, wherein the first display module transmits a received IR signal to the second display module via a first LAN cable connected to the second wired port and third wired port, if the IR signal received via the IR signal reception unit is a signal for controlling the second display module, and transmits a received control signal to the second display module via a second LAN cable, if the control signal is received, via the second LAN cable, from an external device connected via the first wired port, and the second display module transmits an IR signal or a control signal to a neighboring third display module via a third LAN cable connected to the fourth wired port, if the IR signal or the control signal is received via the first LAN cable.
