Abstract:
This disc brake comprises: an attachment member fixed to a non-rotatable part of a vehicle; a caliper supported by the attachment member and disposed so as to straddle the outer circumferential side of a disc; a pair of friction pads to be pressed against both surfaces of the disc by the caliper; and a rod-like member which is provided to the attachment member so as to be located on one end sides in the disc circumferential direction of the pair of friction pads and which extends in the disc axial direction. One of the pair of friction pads includes a support part slidably supported by the rod-like member. The attachment member includes: a first portion fixed to the vehicle; a second portion protruding from the first portion to the side opposite to the disc in the disc axial direction; and a third portion extending from the second portion in the disc radially outward direction. The rod-like member is provided to the third portion. The support part is positioned so as to overlap with the first portion in the disc axial direction.
